The cushions are shower resistant but they are not fully water proof so can become wet if left out in heavy rain. The occasional shower is fine but we would always recommend removing them during bad weather or when not using the item for extended periods as this helps to maintain their appearance. A good tip if you are leaving your cushions out and think it may shower is to stand the seat cushions up on edge on the seats, as this helps water to run off and not pool on the fabric.
