The chair back frame is 44cm from seat to top. The back cushion is slightly shorter than this (approx. 40cm) to allow for the thickness of the 10cm seat cushion whilst still overlapping the top of the back rest when fitted.

The cushions are shower resistant but they are not fully water proof so can become wet if left out in heavy rain. The occasional shower is fine but we would always recommend removing them during bad weather or when not using the item for extended periods as this helps to maintain their appearance. A good tip if you are leaving your cushions out and think it may shower is to stand the seat cushions up on edge on the seats, as this helps water to run off and not pool on the fabric. The covers are fully removable to help with drying in the event that they do become wet.
